ABOUT US - Alexandre Berthier & Karl-Otto von Oertzen- a.k.a AK48

AK48 are working together since 2001, creating many projects with multiple media (sound, photography, video), and using different forms (installation, live-sound performances, interactivity, movies). In their work, they want to bring to light the role of the individual in this technological society.
With a thirst of communication increasing every day, people ingurgitate faster and faster with less and less critiscism the astronomical amount of materials produced by Medias each day, and then, become part of a worldwide ' formatting '.

Taking these materials and manipulating it, they create different kind of universes, between fake, political irony and cosmic conscience.
