ASCII image = image constructed with letters only

Why did I want to insert and play with ASCII images in a 3D environment ?

First because ASCII images were among the first graphical pieces in computer science, before the 3D art, and secondly because word processing was the first type of environment.?
I also had the will to understand what a 3D environment is and what possibilities it offers.
Indeed 3D images, within the framework of ASCII images, make it possible to have both an overview of the image (see the full screen image) as well as a close up to it, in order to understand and visualize how the image has been built and what its components are.
Another idea was that once inside and close to the image, one can write in it and chat with other participants. And that is what gives life to an image, and what creates a certain form of anthrophy ( the more the partcipants communicate with each other, the more the image slowly decompose to eventually totally vanish).

I developped another work here, that consisted in creating 'viruses' within the egalab environment, so that they would interfere and sensitively modify and parasite the works in progress. I thought there were convergent and similar points between those objects and today's society issues.
